What do you do when your life changes and you can’t go back?

Greg Decker is the best high school football player in his state and has the perfect girlfriend. His older brother is his biggest fan. He’s the pride of his hometown. Greg’s future is as bright as it gets.

But then, everything changes. An injury ruins Greg’s football career. He learns his girlfriend isn’t who he thinks she is. His older brother is killed in Vietnam, and his parents drink far too much as a result. Greg must rise from the ashes.
