I’m Rob, and thank you for visiting my history blog!

I’ll start with a few words about my credentials in history. I have a PhD (University of Arkansas, 2015) and I taught classes at the college level for a decade. My major fields of study are United States history, European history, Environmental history, and the American West.

I started this blog for a simple reason. People want accurate history. They’re tired of the politicized and inaccurate stuff they get from politics and most websites. If that’s you, welcome, you’ll feel at home here. Because of my experience in history, I can also offer greater depth and detail than you’ll find on most sites.

I also take request for blog topics. If you’ve got a topic you want to know more about, let me know. I just might post something about it.
